COURSE DESCRIPTION
This doctoral-level course provides a comprehensive and critical examination of the intersection between Islamic management principles and the rapidly evolving field of financial technology (FinTech). Students will explore the foundational concepts of Islamic management, including Tawhidic paradigm, Shura (consultative decision-making), accountability (hisbah), and ethical leadership, alongside the transformative potential of FinTech innovations such as blockchain, smart contracts, artificial intelligence, digital payments, and crowdfunding. The course systematically analyzes how these technological innovations can be harnessed to develop Shariah-compliant financial products and services, while addressing the unique governance, risk, and ethical challenges posed by digital transformation in Islamic financial institutions. Through rigorous case study analysis and applied projects, students will develop the theoretical frameworks and practical skills necessary to lead Islamic FinTech initiatives and contribute to the advancement of the Islamic digital economy.

Students must contact the instructor for feedback after each period.
